Bust unveil of Major Sudhir Walia – Palampur
A long wait and demand of martyr Major Sudhir Walia, AC, SM* family along with Old Boys Association of Sainik School Sujanpur Tira finally brough fruitful result for unveiling the bust of martyr at Palampur, his home place in Distt Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. Bust has been unveiled on Palampur – Chamunda Devi road and junction is also named as Major Sudhir Walia Junction.
Bhoomi Poojan has been carried out at Palampur in presence of dignitaries, Mr Ashish Butail (MLA of Palampur), Ms Indu Goswami (Sansad for Rajya Sabha) along with Shri Shanta Kumar (Ex CM of Himachal Pradesh). Members of Old Boys Association along with martyr’s family members were also present to grace the occasion.
